Terms of Service

1 Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use Choosy. By creating an account you confirm this and that all information you provide is truthful. Accounts found to belong to minors are immediately terminated.

2 Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us at support@gochoosy.app immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. One account per person.

3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Create a fake, impersonating, or misleading profile.
• Upload photos that are not of you, contain nudity, explicit content, or depict illegal activity.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, or discriminate against other users.
• Solicit money, financial information, or personal details from other users.
• Spam or send unsolicited bulk messages.
• Use the App for any illegal purpose under applicable law.
• Attempt unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy any part of the App.
• Use bots or automated tools to interact with the App.

We may remove content and terminate accounts that violate these rules, without notice.

4 Your Content

You retain ownership of your photos, bio, and messages. By uploading content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and transmit it solely to operate the App. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account. You are solely responsible for what you post.

5 Child Safety

Choosy has a strict zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAM). Any content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers minors — including grooming or trafficking — results in immediate account termination and reporting to law enforcement.

6 Photo Moderation

Profile photos are reviewed by our team before being shown to other users. We may reject photos that violate our content guidelines. You will be notified of the decision in the App.

7 Choosy Premium

• Duration: 30 days from purchase. Expires automatically — does not auto-renew.
• Pricing: Displayed at purchase in your local currency via Google Play.
• Payment: Processed by Google Play. We do not store payment details.
• Refunds: Google Play's standard 48-hour refund window applies. No refunds beyond that policy.
• Restoration: Premium is linked to your account and restores automatically on reinstall, provided it has not expired.
• Non-transferable: Premium does not carry over if you delete your account and create a new one.

8 Inactive Accounts

Accounts inactive for more than 14 days are hidden from swipe decks. Accounts inactive for more than 6 months are permanently deleted — including all data, matches, messages, and photos. We are not liable for data loss from this policy.

9 Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations, fraudulent activity, or at our discretion. Ban evasion — creating a new account after termination — is itself a violation and results in immediate termination of the new account.

10 Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users, online or offline. Exercise caution when meeting people in person.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Choosy is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

12 Changes to These Terms

Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India. Where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide rights that cannot be waived, those rights are unaffected.
