These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Choosy mobile application ("App"), operated by Choosy ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Choosy. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful. We verify age at sign-up via date of birth. If we determine that you are under 18, your account will be immediately terminated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@gochoosy.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your credentials.

We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate these rules, without notice and at our sole discretion.
You retain ownership of the content (photos, bio, messages) you submit. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and transmit that content solely for operating the App. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. We do not endorse any user-submitted content.
Choosy has a strict zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation. The App is for adults aged 18 and above only. The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to law enforcement:

Profile photos are reviewed by our team before being made visible to other users. We may reject photos that violate our content guidelines (explicit content, images of other people, offensive material). You will be notified of the decision in the App.
What Premium unlocks:
Duration: Premium is active for 30 days from the date of purchase. It expires automatically at the end of the 30-day period and does not renew unless you make a new purchase.
Pricing: The price is displayed in the App at the time of purchase in your local currency as set by Google Play.
Payment: All payments are processed by Google Play. We do not store your payment details.
Refunds: Google Play offers a 48-hour refund window for in-app purchases. You may request a refund directly through Google Play within this period. We do not offer refunds beyond Google Play's policy.
Restoration: Your Premium status is linked to your Choosy account. If you reinstall the App or sign in on a new device, your active subscription will be automatically restored when you sign in with the same account, provided it has not expired.
Account transfer: Premium status is tied to your Choosy account and is non-transferable. It does not carry over to a new account if you delete your current one.
Accounts that have not been active for more than 14 days are automatically hidden from other users' swipe decks. Accounts inactive for more than 6 months are permanently deleted, including all profile data, matches, messages, and photos. We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from this policy.
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We are not responsible for the conduct of other users, whether online or offline. Dating involves risk — please exercise caution when meeting people in person.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Choosy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
